The Summer Gathering arises from an empty field and dissolves again within the space of a few days.

A team of people will be working to put up the big tents and prepare the field for the Summer Gathering. It’s good fun but there is a lot to do so we need people who are coming to the Summer Gathering to join the set-up camp. 

Working together in the spirit of friendship is a strong Buddhist practice and a rewarding experience. We meditate together, eat and laugh together around the campfire in the evenings. It is a great way to build friendship for the Summer Gathering.

There is no charge and the kitchen provides delicious vegan meals from Monday evening (bring a packed lunch if arriving in the morning).

Everybody with a ticket for the Summer Gathering is invited to join so long as they are able to actively participate (there are jobs for every ability).
